Now 18, Cordaro attends the NAACP alternative school – a last-chance school for troubled kids – and hopes to overcome his past. "I've made some bad decisions, but I've never been dumb," Cordaro says. "I learn from my mistakes; I know what it takes to be successful in life -- school."
